DOYON, N.D. (June 28, 2018) – America’s top Dirt Modified touring series comes to Devils Lake Speedway on Saturday night, presented by Ironhide. The United States Modified Touring Series will look to make their first-ever appearance at the high-banked quarter-mile dirt oval after last year’s event was canceled due to rain. Johnny Scott of Las Cruces, New Mexico sits atop the USMTS point standings entering this weekend’s action in the Dakotas. Scott has three wins in 19 events with the USMTS Modifieds in 2018. Scott’s twin brother, Stormy Scott, sits fourth in USMTS points, but leads the series with four win this season. The Scott brothers will go up against all the USMTS heavy-hitters, including Jake O’Neil, Rodney Sanders and southern Minnesota standout Lucas Schott. Also joining the USMTS Modifieds will be the Wissota Midwest Modifieds, Wissota Street Stocks and Pure Stocks. Green flag drops at 7pm.
